Announcement: Change of Academic Session for Non-Board Classes in Kashmir and Winter Zones of Jammu Province
We are pleased to announce a significant change in the academic calendar for non-board classes (up to Class 9) in the Kashmir Province and the winter zones of Jammu Province. Starting this year, the academic session will revert to the November-December timeline. This change has been implemented to better align with the unique needs of our students, teachers, and parents in these regions.
Key Details:
- Applicable Classes: Non-board classes, up to Class 9.
- New Session Timeline: Academic sessions will now conclude in November-December for the Kashmir Province and the winter zones of Jammu Province.
- Higher Classes: For classes beyond 9th, the academic session change will be effective starting next year.
This decision was made with careful consideration of the region’s unique climate and scheduling needs. We sincerely thank the Hon’ble CM, Mr. Omar Abdullah, for his prompt and thoughtful response to a matter that deeply impacts our educational community.
